FACT: Appropriate Home. IMollies need an aquarium with at least 15 gallons of water, an External Power Filter with a BIO-Wheel, 1/4 inch or less of gravel, and an Aquarium Heater adjusted to between 78 and 82 degrees F. Like most livebearers Mollies will do better with 1 Tablespoon of Aquarium Salt per 5 gallons of water

 

Diet:

 

Floating Flake Food and Freeze Dried Blood Worms. Both of these foods are available in most pet stores.

 

 

Compatibility. Mollies do best in a group with a few males and several females.

 

Mollies are good tank mates for

 

Swordtails,

Platies,

Angel Fish,

Corydoras Catfish,

one Plecostomus, and Bigger Tetras such as Black Skirts,

Red Serpaes,

and Silver Tips.

 

 

Life Span:

 

Mollies will generally live between 3 and 5 years

 

 

Size:

 

Mollies can grow to around 5 inches.
